Nolias 11

Few Weeks ago I visited Mama Nolia’s gallery whom I was introduced too by Zoe my friend. I enjoyed a meal in her great restaurant with superb, Malay cuisine followed  by a show at her Jazz club listening to the amazing voice of her daughter Zoe Devlin accompanied by Ronnie Scott’s in house band. A night to remember and well recommended by me enjoying a great friendly family. I managed to sketch the band the next day from my memory with the special guest ‘mama Nolia’ herself. Zoe, I can now understand where your great voice is coming from…

Mama Nolia celebrating her birthday today and I painted this special painting for her… again it is all based on memory from that special night… I’ll need to paint one live on site or take some photos, as my memory not always that good now a day.. As I would like to paint it again, based on the special performance of the evening with great atmosphere that you never forget. Happy Birthday Mama Nolia.
