Chasing the Lavenders…
We found out that if the good weather will last few more days, They are going to cut all the lavender, so we had to rush and return to Lullingstone park and paint it before it turn into oils and some other subjects. After a cool comfortable morning with few clouds overhead the sun shined and within seconds it was very hot that we had to run and have our daily picnic under the big umbrellas in the local cafe. Of-cours,e not before we completed our great ritual of painting.
We arrived to the lavender land;
Later we also visited a beautiful poppies field near by;
Our paintings were colourful and it was amazing to see what a mix of paint you needed in order to achieve the Lavender colour.

Fields of lavender don’t even look real, so it must be nice to see them in person to see that they are. Some nice paintings there!

Thanks Jenny they do just in a small version but the smell is as strong. The colours are beautiful and they have a local store that run events and selling items related worth visiting π

Poppy it is amazing sight and explosion of great smell. We are very lucky to have it around and enjoy painting it too. π
