On the last workshop with Carol, as always I have worked on two paintings at the same time. I rather work quickly and paint with fewer details. beside I always found that trying to get the same subject with little different can give you a better idea what you can produce next time… Wonder if you have any preference?
Top one is my preference but only because they are more my colours 😊
Thanks Jenny, hope alls good have a good weekend 🙂 x
Very hard to choose, Doron as they are both excellent. I think I prefer [only slightly though] the first one. I love this work of yours! 🙂
Marina thanks are you still dancing zorbas in the street or it is all calm down 🙂
I like the first one best. With the darker sky it seems to have more depth and is a little ominous.
Thank you very much have a great weekend my friend 🙂
I love both of these, Doron. Such depth, movement and stillness! Rich colour.
Jane thank you very much, hope you are all well and keeping warm. Have a nice weekend xxx
I prefer the lighter colours of the second painting.
I love the top one, Doron.
Sarah thank you very much, have a super weekend x
Wonderful work Doron! Have a beautiful weekend.
Mary thank you very much have a great weekend yourself and stay warm x
The first one jumped out at me, Doron. They’re both beautiful but I think I liked the slanted lines rather than the horizontal; gives the painting a little edge, not to mention, a continuing effect. I’m not a painter so am not quite sure of the right language. 🙂 ♥
Lauren thank you very much. I learn the language everyday and keep forgeting it all so not much different between us. Have a great weekend and good luck with your new book for such a great cause 🙂 x
The atmosphere is different between the first and the second. The both are beautiful but I prefer the first. Very interesting to do. I often do that to vary the colors or the composition.
Thank you very much for your comment enjoyed your last painting from Normandy, have a great weekend:-)
Both are great! I especially like the colors in the first one- great work!
Jess thank you very much have a great weekend 🙂

you certainly deserve praising

Andro
Thanks mate, how are you doing? I can’t access your site again where are you hiding? Send me a rope to climb to your castle have a good weekend 🙂
Both these paintings are lovely – so delicate – which one I preferred would be according to my mood They go well together, really. I like the freedom you show in your watercolour painting, Doron. C x
Cara thank you very much, it is true, I normally feel free when I paint and let the water colour do the singing while I immerse in the scene and freedom of nature. Hope you are all good up North and enjoying some ray of sunshine as we do down here x
I love the first one more – and both are great – but that first one has movement (to my eye) with the way the fence is arched – and I also love the lilac in the bottom of that one more – that is my fav of the two – both so nice.
That is a very kind way to analayse it and glade you found the one you like. Have a great weekend and thank you for stopping and comment 🙂
u too – have a good one
I really love this painting Doron! Amazing ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much Violet, enjoy <3<3XX 🙂
I prefer the second one as the wires have more cadence & the brighter colors. Both are equally good though…but I think I prefer more colors 😊
Thank you very much, I am for the colours too 🙂
