Little Rain

Little rain and no one turned to MOPS. I had a very bad night so decided to go for fresh air.. one painted outside the second from the car. A wet En Plein Air day at the office.

Yalding

Recent day out with the club took us to Yalding. It was raining while we painted and I think it actually helped. My main painting was the bridge but I played with the water colours and let the rain put it in place for me.

The view outside

One I made earlier.. now we are in spring time.. Glade someone in wordpress arranged that publish later.. I can put the post for when ever.. Mind you I could not show you rainy paintings in mid summer.. spring is OK as it is either here or there. If I catch that guy who invented chronic pains.. I am going to make sure he lives in winter time all year round..

It start raining here around Christmas and it seems as if someone forgot where was the tap so they can cut it off… that was the view from the patio door few weeks ago..

and then we had to paint anything we like to show ‘time’..

Hastings in the rain

Our Mops visited Hastings and as soon as we arrived the rain storm began. One important lessons was learnt! Don’t paint with Oils water based on a rainy day! It was washed off again and again and finally I had something left to take home…

MOPS

Our sevenoaks Art Club started a new society called the MOPS which is midweek outdoors painters. We try to meet every fortnight in another location and paint in the fresh air.. This week we met in Ide Hill and it was little more then fresh… It was rainning and blowing gale storm. So each member set in their car and sketch painted. I prepare my painting which later I finished indoors! in Oils for a change, all is painted with a knife which was quite new to me. Enjoy.
